AI Analysis

El Coco 2 functions primarily as a genre-driven comedy-thriller. The narrative prioritizes atmospheric tension and the mystery of a sinister entity over intentional intersectional representation or social critique. While the setting of a prison inherently involves power dynamics, the film follows a traditional heroic ensemble structure. The focus remains on plot momentum and comedic relief rather than deconstructing systemic institutions. The production appears to operate within standard regional comedy conventions. It lacks documented evidence of agency-driven marginalized characters or the subversion of established social hierarchies.
