Red Spring adheres to typical conventions of low-budget action-horror. The plot centers on the survivalist struggle during a vampire outbreak, emphasizing psychological tension over social commentary or diverse representation. While the narrative highlights the breakdown of social cohesion among survivors, it follows traditional storylines without challenging conventional social hierarchies. Ultimately, the film seems focused on delivering a genre-specific experience rather than showcasing progressive intentions or diverse representation.

Official Synopsis
The world has been ravaged by vampires. A group of survivors band together to search for loved ones who may be alive, dead or something in between, eventually taking shelter in what may be the only safe hideout left to them. But well defended hideouts have a way of becoming prisons. And prisons aren't the safest place to be when your friends can turn on you at any time.
