In the year 80 AMM (After Mickey Mouse) on the anthropomorphic animal-controlled Planet X, a party of mafioso cats plot to enact a genocide against the mouse population of the world. Mouse scientist Professor Fushimishi seems to have found the weapon against the threat to his people's lives and calls Intermouse, who then call its best (albeit retired) agent, Nick Grabowsky, to get the plans, and as a distraction, they send a second agent - Sergeant Lazy Dick - for the mission.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film centers on a binary conflict between cats and mice. While it lacks explicit queer identities, the character of Sergeant Lazy Dick subverts traditional hyper-masculine hero tropes.
Gender Representation
The story follows a male-dominated espionage framework. While characters like Professor Fushimishi and Nick Grabowsky possess agency, the film lacks significant female development or gender hierarchy subversion.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
Anthropomorphic species serve as a metaphor for racial dynamics. The mice represent a minority group facing systemic genocide by a dominant, predatory feline class.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The narrative critiques established power structures and institutional corruption. It portrays a world of moral relativism where global institutions struggle against mafia-led hierarchies.
Disability Representation
There are no prominent depictions of physical or neurodivergent disabilities that drive the narrative or provide meaningful agency.

AI Analysis
Cat City operates primarily as a political allegory rather than a character study of demographic intersectionality. Its strength lies in using animal species to mirror historical power imbalances and the struggle of marginalized groups against systemic oppression. While the film excels at critiquing institutional corruption and predatory hierarchies, it remains limited by a traditional masculine adventure structure. The lack of explicit representation for LGBTQ+ identities and female characters keeps the demographic scores lower. Ultimately, the film's diversity is found in its thematic depth. It replaces simple morality with a complex look at how dominant classes maintain hegemony through violence.
