Crepuscule is a deeply internal character study that successfully challenges traditional gender roles. By focusing on a woman's psychological survival rather than her relationships with men, the film provides a unique, female-driven perspective. However, the film's narrow focus limits its multi-layered breadth. The intense isolation of the protagonist means there is little room for diverse social or cultural interactions, leaving many categories unexplored. While the exploration of mental health is central, the impressionistic style leaves it unclear if the film offers a nuanced portrayal of neurodivergence or merely uses it for aesthetic effect.
Category Breakdown

The film challenges traditional gender roles by focusing entirely on a woman's psychological journey. It avoids common gender clichés by removing stable male figures and patriarchal structures.
There is no information regarding a diverse cast or specific ethnic dynamics. The focus remains strictly on the protagonist's psychological state and environment.
The story prioritizes individual psychological experiences over religious or communal frameworks. It presents a secular, impressionistic view through themes of existential isolation and decay.

Official Synopsis
An impressionistic experimental drama. A woman walks a fine line between sanity and madness in a world of constant twilight. She works at a filling station and lives a life of emotional isolation. No one seems to pay attention to her, and she lives in a run-down flat that looks as if it's decaying before our eyes. As the woman wrestles with the demons that are taking hold within her mind, she frequently confronts herself in the mirror, often while naked.
