AI Analysis
Webs functions as a conventional survival horror piece that prioritizes genre tropes over intersectional narrative depth. The story relies on established science fiction structures, focusing on a blue-collar team facing external biological threats. The film lacks intentionality regarding social commentary or the disruption of traditional hierarchies. Representation is limited to standard archetypes, with a heavy emphasis on masculine leadership and a homogeneous group dynamic. Ultimately, the narrative adheres to early 2000s genre patterns, favoring physical competence and individualist survival over diverse or progressive character architecture.
