This film is a character-driven exploration of identity that prioritizes narrative ability to act. Its greatest strength is how it centers the LGBTQ+ experience, moving queer attraction from the periphery to the very core of the coming-of-age story. However, the production lacks documented evidence of broad racial or disability-based the way different parts of someone's identity overlap. The focus remains narrow, centering on the specific emotional development of the male protagonists. Ultimately, the work succeeds as an intentional, identity-focused piece that deconstructs traditional romantic frameworks, even if it lacks a diverse ensemble cast.
