Gender Representation

Good

The film explores the complexities of intimacy and the negotiation of power between genders. It moves away from rigid roles in favor of more fluid, emotionally driven interactions.

Fair

The film focuses on a relatively homogeneous demographic within its regional Croatian context. There is no significant evidence of intersectional racial blending or subversion of ethnic casting norms.

AI Analysis

Irena Škorić’s anthology offers a progressive exploration of intimacy that challenges conventional social hierarchies. Its primary strength is a structural commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion, which elevates the film beyond standard romantic tropes by integrating queer narratives into the core collection. While the film succeeds in deconstructing traditional relationship norms, it remains limited by its regional production context. The lack of racial diversity and the absence of disability representation prevent a higher overall score. Ultimately, the film provides a sophisticated, multi-faceted portrayal of human connection, prioritizing nuanced emotional dynamics over monolithic moralistic frameworks.
