New Showbiz Analysis

Teeth is a subversive horror film that dismantles traditional gender power structures. By highlighting the protagonist's physical control, it rejects the passive role of women in sexualized cinema. The film's strength lies in its thematic depth, using a mythological anomaly to critique the restrictive social and religious norms of the 1950s. However, the film's narrow demographic focus limits its engagement with racial and LGBTQ+ diversity.
