New Showbiz Analysis

Bagman operates within the established boundaries of traditional horror clichés. The narrative structure prioritizes a character-driven thriller format centered on individual trauma and the preservation of a standard domestic unit. The film relies on classic folklore and patriarchal archetypes. By focusing on a nuclear family facing an external threat, it avoids the systemic deconstruction of social hierarchies or storytelling that reflects multiple aspects of identity. Ultimately, the work functions as a genre piece that reinforces conventional social norms. It lacks the breadth of representation required to move beyond standard, traditional storytelling structures.
