The film provides a unique, culturally specific look at the aftermath of Argentina's dictatorship. It delves into the complexities of systemic instability and the fragility of democratic institutions. However, the narrative centers around a traditional male protagonist and a family structure that assumes everyone is straight. While it challenges the typical strong father figure, it doesn't offer much broader representation of different identities.
