AI Analysis

Sishya follows a conventional late-90s dramatic structure centered on romantic obstacles and state intervention. While the film places a woman at the center of the plot, the narrative resolution reinforces traditional social hierarchies rather than challenging them. The film's scope is limited to a standard regional movement between Delhi and Chennai. It lacks the intersectional complexity or progressive narrative architecture required to move beyond mainstream romantic tropes. Ultimately, the film functions as a traditional melodrama where personal autonomy is secondary to established institutional and familial structures.
