The film reinforces natural hierarchies and the importance of stable family structures for survival. Because the subjects are animals, the film lacks human-centric intersectional frameworks. It focuses on the biological realities of the animal kingdom rather than challenging or deconstructing cultural norms. Ultimately, the production serves an ecological purpose, showcasing global biodiversity through a conservative lens that emphasizes instinct and parental lessons.
