The unruly schoolgirls of St Trinian's are more interested in men and mischief than homework and hockey. But greater trouble than ever beckons when the arrival at the school of Princess Fatima of Makyad coincides with the return of recently expelled Arabella Fritton, who has the kidnap of a prize racehorse on her mind.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film lacks LGBTQ+ characters or any exploration of non-cisnormative identities. Social dynamics focus entirely on traditional heteronormative interests and preoccupation with men.
Gender Representation
Female characters drive the narrative through chaos and mischief, rejecting the 'proper lady' archetype. The students and staff exercise high agency, subverting mid-century expectations of female submissiveness.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The cast is predominantly white, reflecting the demographic homogeneity of 1954 British cinema. While Princess Fatima introduces a non-Anglo-Saxon element, she serves primarily as a plot catalyst.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The story deconstructs traditional Western institutions like the British boarding school. It celebrates organized dysfunction and moral relativism, challenging the era's emphasis on discipline and decorum.
Disability Representation
There are no discernible depictions of physical or neurodivergent disabilities. No characters have arcs defined by sensory or mental health conditions.

AI Analysis
The film excels at subverting gender hierarchies by centering a cohort of assertive, unruly women who reject traditional social decorum. This provides a strong foundation of female agency within a comedic framework. However, the narrative lacks intersectional breadth. The representation of non-white characters is minimal and functional rather than deep, and there is a total absence of LGBTQ+ or disability representation. Ultimately, the film is a study in institutional disruption. It uses a female-centric collective to challenge mid-century social structures, even while remaining limited by the era's demographic homogeneity.
