AI Analysis
Leave No Trace excels in its nuanced depiction of neurodivergence and its subversion of traditional social roles. By centering a neurodivergent father and an Indigenous lead, the film moves beyond surface-level representation to explore deeper themes of displacement and systemic friction. The film's strength lies in its refusal to treat disability as a plot device or a problem to be solved. Instead, it presents a realistic look at how psychological needs clash with institutionalized society. However, the lack of LGBTQ+ representation and the narrow focus on a single dyadic relationship limit the film's overall diversity breadth.
