Pastor Jones follows a conventional dramatic structure focusing on interpersonal and institutional conflicts. While the protagonist gains strength by leaving an abusive marriage, the narrative aligns with established social and religious hierarchies. The film examines the tension between personal desires and religious teachings through a male spiritual leader. This focus reinforces traditional moral frameworks rather than deconstructing them. Overall, the work presents a standard dramatic arc without significantly challenging identity or social norms.
