New Showbiz Analysis

Reaction Time functions as a traditional horror/thriller film, focusing on atmospheric tension and survivalist themes. The narrative centers on a family trapped by an unnatural fog, keeping the scope narrow and localized. The film does not intentionally disrupt social hierarchies or include diverse identities. Instead, it adheres to established horror and thriller conventions without exploring progressive social themes. By centering on a standard family unit in isolation, the film reinforces conventional social structures rather than challenging them.
