Women like Harcourt, Greer, and Adebayo are co-equal operatives who drive strategy and personal choices. Toxic masculinity is critiqued through Peacemaker’s growth and his father’s control.

The team includes Black and Native American characters in capable, non-stereotyped roles. The main antagonist is a wealthy white nationalist, contrasting with the diverse group he opposes.

Blind patriotism and authoritarian family structures are portrayed as dangerous and delusional. Wealth and government power are shown as corrupting forces rather than virtues.

No characters with physical or mental disabilities appear as central figures. Disability is not used as a plot device or a source of inspiration in the story.
