Good

Female protagonists like Miss Piggy subvert traditional hierarchies through high agency and assertive personalities. Characters such as Janice provide nuanced presence beyond simple supporting roles.

Racial & Ethnic Diversity

Fair

Diversity is expressed through a broad ensemble of various species rather than human ethnic identities. The film avoids a homogeneous aesthetic but lacks intentional exploration of race.

Religious & Cultural Diversity

Fair

The story explores systemic greed and the pressures of celebrity culture. It offers a cynical view of institutional authority and the distinction between performer and person.

AI Analysis

Muppets Most Wanted succeeds in subverting traditional character archetypes, particularly through its depiction of female agency. Miss Piggy and Janice drive much of the comedic and emotional tension, challenging submissive femininity. However, the film remains cautious regarding broader social identities. It lacks explicit LGBTQ+ narratives and does not engage deeply with neurodivergence or physical disability, treating unique character traits as mere aesthetic quirks. While the ensemble is visually diverse, the film relies on species-based variety rather than intentional explorations of human intersectionality or ethnic identity.
