New Showbiz Analysis

Jayeshbhai Jordaar uses a screwball comedy format to address the serious issue of female foeticide. By placing a non-confrontational man against a rigid patriarchal system, the film redefines heroism through the lens of gender equality. The film effectively turns traditional authority figures into antagonists of progress, shifting the plot's focus to reproductive autonomy and the protection of female life. While the film lacks representation for LGBTQ+ identities or disabilities, its strong social commentary on gendered power dynamics sets it apart from typical genre fare.
