AI Analysis

The film excels by shifting the thriller lens away from Western-centric perspectives. By centering the narrative in Tunis, it provides a sophisticated look at North African urban life and socioeconomic volatility. However, the film remains limited by traditional gender hierarchies. The focus on male aggression and patriarchal structures prevents a more balanced representation of agency. Ultimately, the work succeeds as a cultural critique of systemic pressures, even while it remains narrow in its treatment of gender and identity.
