AI Analysis

Anna Melikyan’s *Star* functions as an intimate character study rather than a sociopolitical critique. It succeeds in deconstructing social facades through a multi-narrative structure that prioritizes individual agency over systemic commentary. The film's primary strength lies in its nuanced portrayal of women. By centering the internal landscapes of its female leads, the story disrupts traditional male-driven plot structures. However, the film lacks intersectional breadth. The narrative remains within a relatively uniform demographic framework, offering little representation regarding racial or LGBTQ+ identities.
