AI Analysis

Decay is a genre-driven horror thriller that prioritizes the tension of a scientific catastrophe over social or identity-based exploration. The plot centers on survival within the maintenance tunnels of CERN following a particle accelerator malfunction. While the international setting of the Large Hadron Collider implies a globalized environment, the film lacks specific evidence of intentional racial or cultural representation. The narrative architecture remains focused on the mechanics of a zombie outbreak rather than the subversion of systemic norms. Ultimately, the film functions as a localized genre exercise. It adheres to conventional horror tropes, leaving little room for the exploration of intersectional identities or diverse social hierarchies.
