AI Analysis

Haunt functions as a conventional genre piece that uses a diverse ensemble to ground its high-tension premise. While the casting reflects a contemporary demographic reality, the narrative remains tethered to traditional horror tropes. The film provides standard representation but lacks the intentionality required to disrupt social hierarchies or offer deep commentary on identity. It avoids complex intersectional storytelling in favor of a survival-focused plot. Ultimately, the work succeeds in avoiding homogeneous casting but fails to explore the deeper implications of its characters' diverse backgrounds.
