We Are Stronger is a character-driven drama that follows a conventional arc of personal struggle and veteran reintegration. The narrative centers on the internal conflicts of a soldier dealing with physical injuries and marital strain, adhering to traditional dramatic formulas. While the film offers a nuanced exploration of masculine vulnerability and the realities of PTSD, it operates within established social frameworks. It prioritizes individual resilience and the restoration of traditional institutions over challenging systemic hierarchies. Ultimately, the film serves as a study of personal trauma rather than a vehicle for multi-layered or cultural deconstruction.

Through the help of two kids and some unlikely heroes, Vic must face the trauma and the wounds on his soul to save his marriage and to help his fellow brother in need. To succeed he must discover the true source of strength and realize he can't do it alone if he is going to win this war and emerge STRONGER.
