AI Analysis

Kommersant is a period drama focused heavily on class struggle and the volatility of the 1990s Russian socio-economic landscape. The narrative architecture prioritizes the protagonist's descent from an aspiring oligarch to a prisoner, emphasizing systemic corruption over identity-based diversity. While the film offers a sharp critique of capitalist ideals and the fragility of social status, it lacks breadth in its representation of marginalized groups. The focus remains tightly wound around a male-centric, heteronormative framework. Ultimately, the film's strength lies in its cultural commentary on institutional decay rather than its inclusivity of diverse social identities.
