The film showcases authentic representation by featuring an Armenian-Canadian cast. Ethnic identity is central to understanding history and trauma, rather than being a secondary element.

The narrative addresses the historical trauma of the Armenian Genocide and prioritizes subjective truth over a single, objective history. It challenges monolithic perspectives through post-colonial themes.

There is no evidence of physical or neurodivergent disabilities being used as central plot devices. Psychological trauma is explored but not framed through a disability lens.
