Öğretmen Kemal is a work of social realism that prioritizes the deconstruction of traditionalist power dynamics over modern identity-based representation. The film functions as a study of ideological conflict, pitting intellectual advancement against entrenched, conservative structures. However, the film lacks broad representation of gender, sexuality, and disability. The focus remains heavily on class and educational struggle, leaving little room for diverse representations of these aspects.
