AI Analysis
They Must Eat! operates as a conventional low-budget horror film. The narrative architecture prioritizes visceral genre tropes and individualistic vengeance over nuanced social commentary or intersectional storytelling. The film relies on a traditional masculine arc, focusing on a male worker's command over supernatural forces. This approach lacks the intentionality needed to disrupt social hierarchies or provide diverse perspectives. Ultimately, the production follows standard horror frameworks. It lacks documented efforts toward race-bent casting or the inclusion of marginalized identities, resulting in a narrow thematic scope.
