AI Analysis

Voodoo Dolls operates within the traditional boundaries of early 90s horror. While the film establishes a female-centric environment through its girls' college and sorority setting, it lacks broader intersectional depth. The narrative relies on supernatural elements like voodoo, which provides a non-traditional religious framework but may lean on established genre tropes. The lack of visible racial or LGBTQ+ diversity keeps the film within standard genre conventions. Ultimately, the film provides a foundation for female agency but fails to engage with complex social or systemic critiques.
