New Showbiz Analysis

White Angel is a conventional psychological thriller centered around a single character study. The narrative focuses on personal trauma and suspicion surrounding Ellen Carter, without delving into broader social or identity-based themes. While the film features a female protagonist in a leading role, it does not challenge traditional gender hierarchies or cinematic clichés. Ultimately, the film lacks characters who reflect more than one aspect of diversity and operates within a standard genre framework without prioritizing the deconstruction of social or cultural hierarchies.
