Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film lacks prominent LGBTQ+ characters or non-heteronormative narratives. The social landscape remains largely conventional, offering no discernible subversion of heteronormative structures.
Gender Representation
The narrative disrupts masculine archetypes by centering on a male protagonist whose stability is profoundly compromised. However, female characters remain largely tethered to traditional caregiving roles.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The cast is predominantly white, reflecting a relatively homogeneous Belgian social circle. The setting lacks significant intersectional breadth or color-blind casting.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The film excels in its critique of Western institutionalism and medical establishments. It portrays the family unit as a site of crisis rather than a pillar of stability.
Disability Representation
The film provides a nuanced exploration of neurodivergence and mental health. It grants agency to the experience of psychological instability without relying on 'inspiration porn.'

AI Analysis
The film prioritizes thematic depth over demographic breadth. While it lacks racial and LGBTQ+ inclusion, it engages deeply with the complexities of mental health and institutional authority. It succeeds in deconstructing the perceived stability of the traditional family and the reliability of medical frameworks. This creates a sophisticated study of psychological fragmentation. Ultimately, the work is a study of subjectivity and the fragility of social order rather than a showcase for diverse demographic representation.
