New Showbiz Analysis

Blood Moon is a traditional survival horror-Western that relies on well-known archetypes. The film focuses on a small group of travelers and outlaws facing a supernatural threat. Its strongest contribution to diversity lies in its recontextualization of the werewolf myth through an indigenous lens, which adds cultural depth. However, the film lacks complexity in representing diverse identities. It maintains traditional gender hierarchies and does not include characters with disabilities.
