New Showbiz Analysis

Darkhunters primarily functions as a character-driven supernatural drama. While it offers a moderate subversion of gender roles by making a female character the arbiter of salvation, it remains limited in scope. The film lacks visible representation regarding race, LGBTQ+ identities, or disability. This absence of overlapping identities keeps the overall diversity profile low. Ultimately, the narrative's strength lies in its questioning of religious certainty rather than its broad diversity.
