AI Analysis
The Milky Way is a quintessential product of its era, functioning as a traditionalist piece of escapist animation. The narrative architecture is designed to reinforce, rather than disrupt, the social and moral hierarchies of the time. By utilizing anthropomorphic animals, the film abstracts identity entirely. While this avoids the overt racial stereotyping common in the period, it also prevents any meaningful engagement with diverse human ethnicities or intersectional identities. Ultimately, the film prioritizes whimsical storytelling and moral simplicity over social commentary. It offers a singular, homogeneous perspective that avoids the complexities of cultural or social critique.
