New Showbiz Analysis

Poj Arnon’s direction suggests a film rooted in camp and queer aesthetics. By centering the narrative on a chaotic hotel environment during a pandemic, the film moves away from traditional horror hierarchies. The production emphasizes high-energy, non-traditional character archetypes. This approach deconstructs standard responses to systemic crises, favoring social disruption and genre subversion over heroic institutionalism. While the cast remains ethnically localized to Thailand, the film provides a distinct regional voice that challenges Western-centric pandemic narratives.
