It tells the story of four Jewish boys during a few summer days at the country club where their parents take them, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, in 1993. Within the club, the four define themselves as outsiders, since they do not participate in the sports activities that are practiced there, and therefore do not fit into the logic that governs the place, being permanently bothered and mocked by the rest of the children of their age.

AI Analysis
Cheese Head offers a focused look at social stratification through the eyes of four Jewish boys in 1993 Buenos Aires. The film succeeds in deconstructing the perceived cohesion of elite spaces, showing how institutional norms can marginalize those who do not conform to established social logics. However, the narrative is demographically narrow. By prioritizing a specific male coming-of-age experience, the film lacks broader gender diversity and does not address LGBTQ+ themes or disability representation. Ultimately, the work is a character-driven drama that challenges the monolithic expectations of the upper class by centering a minority group's struggle against social mockery.
