New Showbiz Analysis

Carnivorous is primarily a genre-driven horror film centered on survival. While it features a strong female protagonist, it lacks broader diversity. The narrative heavily relies on traditional horror elements, focusing on the group of prisoners and the demonic threat. There is little indication of intentional efforts to diversify the cast or challenge social hierarchies. Overall, the film's focus on a bleak, survivalist environment limits opportunities for social commentary or diverse representation.
