New Showbiz Analysis

The film’s diversity profile is thin. A female lead and a vengeful female ghost provide some gender presence, but the plot still treats women as primary targets in a familiar slasher setup. Racial and LGBTQ+ representation are absent from the cast and synopsis. The friend group is presented as white and straight, with no indication of broader identities. Cultural framing is limited to a moralistic take on reckless partying. Disability is not engaged at all. The overall score reflects this narrow scope.
