Racial & Ethnic Diversity

Fair

AI Analysis

Sathyan Anthikad’s work serves as a faithful reflection of middle-class domesticity and rural social structures in Kerala. The film prioritizes character-driven comedy and the nuances of village life over the subversion of systemic power dynamics. While the film provides an authentic localized depiction of its specific cultural milieu, it operates within established social frameworks. It lacks the intentionality required to disrupt traditional gender, religious, or social norms of the era.
