This installment of the franchise stays firmly within the boundaries of the teen slasher genre. It prioritizes plot-driven tension and genre conventions over any meaningful exploration of social hierarchies or identity politics. The narrative structure is built around traditional milestones and interpersonal conflict. While it centers on female characters, it does so through a lens of established genre clichés rather than progressive subversion. Ultimately, the film lacks evidence of diverse representation or systemic critique, resulting in a score consistent with mainstream, traditional genre media.
