AI Analysis
Who Pulled the Plug? operates as a conventional 1980s commercial comedy. The plot relies on established tropes of corporate rivalry and competitive spirit, which limits its capacity for social subversion. While the film introduces international elements via an Arab prince, these characters function primarily as catalysts for the plot rather than fully realized individuals. This approach leans into traditional depictions of foreign wealth rather than intersectional depth. The film's structure reinforces standard social hierarchies, focusing on business competition and familial structures without challenging existing gender or cultural norms.
