The film operates as a traditional survival thriller, prioritizing suspense and genre conventions over social critique. The narrative structure relies on well-known archetypes, such as the distressed witness and the reclusive protector, following standard cinematic patterns. Since the plot centers on external violence and escape, it lacks intentional characters who reflect more than one aspect of diversity. The character dynamics reinforce conventional social hierarchies rather than challenging them, focusing narrowly on survivalist themes.
