AI Analysis

Hell-ephone follows a conventional horror structure that prioritizes a singular, manipulative male figure over a diverse ensemble. The narrative centers on a group of college students and a Svengali-like professor, establishing a traditional patriarchal hierarchy. The film lacks identifiable intersectional character arcs or diverse casting. Instead, the story focuses on individual transgression and the deconstruction of social empathy through a prank gone wrong. Ultimately, the work adheres to traditionalist genre tropes rather than disrupting systemic hierarchies or offering progressive representation.
