New Showbiz Analysis

Uman – The Perfect Man employs a science fiction comedy format to deconstruct traditional gender hierarchies. The film highlights the female lead as the primary intellectual driver, contrasting her with an inadequate male figure. However, the narrative remains focused on a conventional nuclear family structure, lacking multi-layered depth. While the film offers a progressive critique of traditional domestic hierarchies, it does not provide diverse representation in terms of race, ethnicity, or disability.
