Synopsis

Future by Design shares the life and far-reaching vision of Jacque Fresco, considered by many to be a modern day Da Vinci. Peer to Einstein and Buckminster Fuller, Jacque is a self-taught futurist who describes himself most often as a "generalist" or multi-disciplinarian -- a student of many inter-related fields.

AI Analysis

Future by Design is a specialized biographical documentary that prioritizes philosophical and systemic revisionism over demographic representation. It functions as a critique of modern civilization, challenging Western industrial and capitalist hierarchies through the lens of Jacque Fresco's futurist visions. The film's progressive impact is found in its narrative architecture rather than intersectional character studies. By advocating for resource-based social structures, it disrupts conventional notions of meritocracy and private property. While the work lacks diverse interpersonal storytelling, it succeeds in its radical deconstruction of existing cultural and economic frameworks.
