AI Analysis

Bert and Arnie's Guide to Friendship operates as a conventional character-driven comedy. It prioritizes interpersonal drama and romantic misadventures over the subversion of social hierarchies or systemic narrative shifts. The film's structure adheres to established genre expectations. While it explores personal repression and the complexities of friendship, it does so within a framework of traditional marital and social structures. Ultimately, the work lacks the intentionality required to disrupt conventional norms, focusing instead on a localized study of ethics and relationship dynamics between its two central male characters.
