New Showbiz Analysis

El eco del miedo centers its survival narrative on female characters, placing a young woman and a girl at the heart of the tension. This choice avoids the traditional focus on masculine leadership often found in the horror genre. However, the film lacks depth in representing diverse identities such as LGBTQ+, racial diversity, and disabilities, limiting the narrative's social complexity. The setting provides cultural commentary through its depiction of economic decay and crumbling estates, but the overall scope remains narrow.
