AI Analysis

Ride Above functions as a conventional sports drama centered on individual resilience and the bond between humans and animals. While the film offers meaningful gender agency through its female lead, it lacks intersectional complexity. The narrative follows traditional dramatic conventions and genre-standard tropes. It focuses on personal perseverance rather than systemic critique or the subversion of social hierarchies. Ultimately, the film lacks visible diversity in terms of race, LGBTQ+ identity, and disability, resulting in a score that reflects a homogeneous, traditional storytelling approach.
