New Showbiz Analysis

Las cosas como son is a character-driven psychological drama that prioritizes individual eccentricity and interpersonal mystery over social commentary. The plot focuses on the voyeuristic habits of Jerónimo and the disruption caused by Sanna's arrival. While the setting implies a level of cultural diversity through the inclusion of expatriates, the film lacks intentional identity-driven casting. The narrative structure focuses on the tension of hidden objects and broken boundaries rather than challenging broader social issues. Ultimately, the film functions as a study of personal privacy and antisocial behavior, offering limited visibility into broader social or identity-based representation.
