New Showbiz Analysis

iPsycho primarily serves as a character study within the slasher genre. Although it provides some ability to act to its female lead by giving her a position of vocal authority, the film lacks multi-layered depth. The narrative centers on psychological tension and genre clichés, focusing narrowly on a single perspective and missing opportunities for broader social representation. Ultimately, the film's impact is limited by its focus on a nihilistic protagonist, leaving little room for diverse perspectives or complex identity-driven narratives.
